We’d like to invite you to our wedding open evening, your chance to explore our award-winning coastal wedding venue and sit down with our Wedding & Events Coordinator to discuss your special day.

Spanish City was crowned Best Town & City Venue at The North East Wedding Awards 2023 and 2021, and Coastal Wedding Venue of the Year at The National Wedding Awards 2020. It is a Grade II listed building with a dedicated function suite and a team of wedding specialist who can support couples to create the big day they have always dreamed of.

Our wedding function space, St Mary’s Lighthouse Suite, features floor-to-ceiling panoramic views of the Whitley Bay coastline and a private bar. At the Wedding Open Evening, you can ask our team any questions you may have and sit down with our experienced Wedding & Events Coordinator to discuss how we can tailor our venue to suit your special day. You will also have the chance to meet a few of our recommended suppliers.

To find the function suite, please come through the glass doors next to the car park, up the stairs and straight through the double doors ahead of you.
