About our Afternoon Teas

What could be more enjoyable than a long and leisurely Afternoon Tea? One of life’s most luxurious occasions and something to truly look forward to. Whether you’re planning an event for 150 people or a catch-up with your beloved Grandmother, this is sure to be a hit.

With our incredible Head Pastry Chef, Kristian Branch, at the helm of his talented team, here at Spanish City we are confident we have created the best Afternoon Tea in the North East.

Full of opulence and indulgence, relax and enjoy endless teas or coffees included in the price of your Afternoon Tea, or add a glass of Prosecco or Champagne before savouring freshly made finger sandwiches, divine quiches, savoury pastries, homemade scones and painstakingly created cakes that are guaranteed to ‘wow’ you.

Guests can enjoy Afternoon Tea underneath the iconic dome in our Gallery or in 1910.  In order for our chefs to have time to prepare everything from scratch, we ask that you please book Afternoon Tea with at least 24 hours notice and state any dietary requirements.

These are the types of Afternoon Tea we currently offer at Spanish City:

  • Traditional
  • Children’s
  • Vegetarian
  • Vegan
  • Gluten-free
  • Nut-free

Please note, these are only dietary requirements we can accommodate. We cannot mix dietary requirements (e.g. vegetarian and gluten-free). We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
