We understand that this can be a difficult time, so we would like to make planning your loved one’s celebration of life as easy as possible. At Spanish City, we have multiple areas available, some of which can be hired for exclusive use, for gatherings of 2 – 1000 people.

With panoramic sea views, a private bar and a dedicated events team, Spanish City’s St Mary’s Lighthouse Suite is the perfect location for wakes and celebrations of life, whether that be an intimate family gathering or a joyous celebration of life following a funeral service.

Our coastal-facing function room features state-of-the-art audiovisual technology, including a projector and TV Screen (which is perfect for displaying treasured photos) and a sound system with speakers to play your choice of music. We also have microphones for raising a toast to your loved ones, or for any services you may wish to host in the suite itself. St Mary’s Lighthouse Suite also features a partition wall, which can be put in place for more intimate gatherings. The capacity within our function suite is from 10 – 150 guests seated, with additional room for guests when standing, and a room hire cost of £250.00 for seaside only (Max 50 guests), or £300.00 for the entire suite (up to 150 guests).

In addition to this dedicated function room, there are further spaces available throughout Spanish City. Alternatively, the entire building can be privately hired, making Spanish City an ideal venue for gatherings of 2 – 1000 people. Our events team offer a sensitive yet attentive service, with a range of menus including welcome drinks, light refreshments, buffets and afternoon tea. We will of course cater for any dietary requirements your guests may have and we can also discuss bespoke menu options.
