Vintage Sports Car Display
Sunday 5th June 2022
The Links, Whitley Bay
11am – 2.30pm
Come to see this rare public display of the full range of Triumph sports cars from the late 50s, 60s & 70s including the range of TR sports cars, GT6, Stags of all colours from the glam rock era, Dolomite Sprint, Spitfires, Heralds, sporting saloons and more on Sunday 5th June on the impressive newly paved pedestrian plaza near the Spanish City on Whitley Bay seafront. This event is organised jointly by the TR Register and the Triumph Stag Owners Club.
Information cards describing the incredible rise, fall and unfortunate demise of the Triumph marque over just 25 years, together with a few words about the Triumph cars actually on display will be handed out to members of the public. Owners will be available to talk about their cars.
A fabulous original guest car, which could arguably be considered the grandfather of the modern era of all Triumph cars, will also be on display.
This will be the Queen’s Jubilee weekend so we could expect a high footfall along the promenade and we have invited the RNLI to collect for the Cullercoats lifeboat station. There will be 4 marshals to ensure exhibitors park and leave safely.
Organisers will be collecting for RNLI Cullercoats Lifeboat station.
Please note, this is not a Spanish City event.
