Back due to popular demand, Spanish City is thrilled to announce its next Comedy Night on Friday 17th February. In association with Felt Nowt Comedy, a fantastic lineup has been put together for this evening.
The night will be hosted by compare Si Beckwith. The comedy line-up for this night consists of:

NEW HEADLINER: Ben Crompton – Best known as Dolorous Edd in Game of Thrones
Quickfire, physical and laugh out loud comedy. Ben has a warm, original style that mixes the observational with the surreal.
A television regular, Ben starred as Colin in the Johnny Vegas sitcom Ideal, and the sketch show Man Stroke Woman. Other TV and film work includes Pramface, Clocking Off, Kill List, Doctor Who and Strike. He also writes for the stage, television and radio.
Louise Young:
Louise Young has quickly become one of the brightest new names on the comedy circuit. She is a regular at clubs up and down the country including the Glee Clubs, Komedia, and The Stand. Louise has supported the likes of Jason Manford and Alan Carr on their nation wide UK and Ireland tours. In 2020, she was nominated for Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year and the following year was nominated for Leicester Comedy Festival’s Best Festival Appearance. Louise was also a finalist in the Funny Women Awards in 2018.
Louise has presented a weekly comedy radio show on BBC Radio Newcastle and at the 2020 Gillard Awards won a commendation for Newcomer of the Year on the station.
Catherine Young:
Winner of the Hilarity Bites New Act of the Year 2019. Catherine regularly absconds from Middlesbrough and the general misery of life, by running around the UK comedy circuit looking for anyone who will listen to her. One of the most exciting new acts in years.
